The ultimate vehicle for adventure in New Zealand’s outer space. We start with late model Toyota 'people movers' and custom-fit them (in our own Spaceship factory) with the things that you need. This way you get the best possible combination of value for money and key usable features in a vehicle that is great to drive.

DRIVING IN COMFORT
Spaceships have the advantage of being exceptionally safe, easy and fun to drive, coming with - automatic transmission, seat-belted seating for four, electric mirrors and windows, sunroofs, air conditioning, power steering and 4WD options available.

Unique design features including the Dual battery design and Swivel Seat setup.
The secret to Spaceships all comes back to the unique design - which makes it easy to set up and not reliant on 'powered sites'. Along with the fold-away cooker, hidden (yet easily accessed) storage, ceiling mounted DVD screen, fold out table and chairs, we came up with two other special design features:

Swivel Seat Design
Spaceships have a unique seating system in the back which enable them to seat up to four people, (great for small families, couples or extra friends - see 4 berth sleeping option) when the seat is facing forward. The seat can then swivel and face out the side door and you can set up a table and cook and eat dinner.

Finally you can swivel it to face the back door and extend the bed internally for sleeping in winter. (Bed legs are included free, and they only takes 10 seconds to set up.)

This unique seating arrangement allows us to have a permanent frame through the back of the vehicle which means it is easy and quick to assemble your bed without rearranging your gear, which is stored below in two compartments.

Self-Charging Battery System
Spaceships are set up with two batteries, one runs the CD/DVD player and the chiller, and the other battery starts the engine. This allows you to operate the chiller and watch a DVD while the engine is not running; this will eventually run the auxiliary battery down, but the Spaceship will always start on the other battery, and then self-charge as you drive.

This means you do not have to pay for powered sites like you would in some ordinary campervans or motorhomes to charge your vehicle, saving you money and enabling you to go further off the beaten track.

All this makes a spaceship very user friendly and practical.

As well as our regular New Zealand rental specials you will also save on ferry costs between the North and South Island as your Spaceship can be booked as a car. When driving it self-charges so you do not need powered campsites like an ordinary motor home or camper van. This means it saves you money and gets you further off the beaten track.

Extend you fun and your sightseeing in New Zealand.

The 4WD models are most popular in the winter time to hit the ski fields. They are also a safer option when driving in certain parts of the country during the winter months as random snow falls can happen at any time.

Prices for a 4WD are NZ$10 per day more than the standard model.
