GROUP G (4WD) INSURANCE OPTIONS
• Option 1 : Insurance excess $1800.00 (NZD)
• Option 2 : Insurance excess $220.00, Pay
Additional $19.00 (NZD) per day
With Excess Reduction Option 2 the hirer is responsible
for the first $220 of ANY ACCIDENT of the cost
of damage to Third Party property or to the rented
vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen
and tyre damage, overhead and underbody damage,
towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, or break
in or vandalism. This also includes the cost of
the daily rental rate for the period the vehicle
is off fleet for accident repairs (demurrage).
The excess applies in respect of each claim, not
rental. *Excess Reduction Option 2 includes coverage
for up to 1 x windscreen and 2 x tyres.
Exclusions
Excess options do not cover water submersion
or salt-water damage. All excess
options are void if the terms of the rental agreement
are breached.
Bond
A bond is required for all hires. You will
be asked to sign a separate security bond in the
form of a credit card imprint, or give a cash
deposit. This bond is held by jucy cars and is
not banked; it is our guarantee that the vehicle
will be returned on time and in the condition
that it was hired in.
Rental Duration
24 hours on time of pick-up. There is a 1
hour grace period, if the car is over 1 hour late
a full day is charged. Payment is to be made at
the commencement of the hire by wither cash/ traveler's
cheques or credit card.
Tax
Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T) of 12.5% is
included in all daily hire prices.
Early Returns
There are no refunds for early returns. Returning
a hired vehicle early may
incur a penalty equivalent to 1 days hire. The
daily rate on any discounted
or special hires may be recalculated at rack rates.
One Way Hires
Available between all branches, minimum hire
days apply. Repositioning fees
may apply.
Queenstown Pick Up Fee
Please note that there is a $50.00 pick up
fee for all Car rentals in Queenstown.
Child and Baby Seats
Child seats are now compulsory on New Zealand
roads (for children under 5 years of age). These
may be hired from our offices. These need to be
ordered at the time of reservation stating the
age and weight of the child so the correct size
will be booked.
Cancellations
If a booking is cancelled within the 5 day
period before the start of the hire
there is no refund of the booking deposit (20%
of hire). If the booking is cancelled outside
this period there is a full refund of the deposit
paid.
Ferry Reservations
Should clients be traveling between the North
and South Island they must take
the vehicle across on either the InterIslander
of Lynx Fast Ferry. Jucy Cars
are happy to assist with your ferry booking and
recommend advanced bookings
between peak seasons (November through to March)
Clients can collect and pay
for their tickets on collection of their vehicle
from Jucy Cars (the approximate time to cross by
InterIslander Ferry is 3 hours and the Lynx Fast
Ferry is 2 hour 25 minutes.

Age Restrictions
Drivers must be 18 years of age. A medical
certificate is required for driver
over the age of 75.
Infringements
We reserve the right to charge the hirer
for any speeding or parking fines,
associated administration costs and / or accidents
incurring third party property damage reported
on return of the vehicle.

hotels/ motels/ attractions and
airline deals. We can offer you special deals
with Top 10 Camp Sites/ Farm Stays/Bed and Breakfast

New Zealand experience.
