Our Booking Office handles all New Zealand bookings
on your behalf directly with the various suppliers.
Once you have made your booking
with Getabout NZ, we provide you with all the details necessary to pick up
and return the vehicle.
You can reserve vehicles to pick-up at any of the following locations
in New Zealand:
AUCKLAND, BAY OF ISLANDS, CHRISTCHURCH, DUNEDIN,
HAMILTON, NELSON, PALMERSTON NORTH, PICTON, QUEENSTOWN, ROTORUA.
Depends on the brand supplied and availability at time of renting, but most top locations include:
AUCKLAND, CHRISTCHURCH, QUEENSTOWN. Other locations on request only.
AIRPORT PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF can be arranged for most vehicles
- but only if arranged in advance when requesting a quote.

If looking
for economies when crossing between the north and
south islands, it is possible to drop cars
off in Picton or Wellington and avoid
having to pay additional fees for the ferry crossing
by car. Minimum rental days apply one way; please email

NZ/OZ is able to offer One-Way Rentals upon application between
major cities, and special rates may apply if you combine NZ vehicle
hire with your Australian rental. Just ask us!
 Consider
renting in the North Island and taking your vehicle on one of the
regular ferry services to the
South Island.
No
unpacking, just drive on board. You will need to book in advance. |
